There are many options you can wear when working from home and sometimes it can get a little overwhelming. So, we are here to provide you with our top tips to get the most out of your styling when working from home.

Business up top, comfort on the bottom

The main thing to consider when dressing for working from home is your productivity levels. Many people can’t work productively if they are distracted by even a moment of discomfort.

You want to be as comfortable as possible in your own home without breaking the boundaries.

There is a little secret you can keep from your workmates and clients…a mixture of smart and casual. Perfect for client calls, make people think you’ve really made an effort by wearing something smart and sassy on your top half but then keep it comfy and casual on your bottom half.

A collared shirt always means business and a crisp white shirt never fails to impress. Throw in some bang on-trend puff sleeves and there you have a power outfit! No one would ever know that on the bottom half you’re wearing an old pair of leggings or some comfy joggers.

If you’re worried about risking it too much when what about a pin stripe shirt with a nice touch of embroidery and some loose-fitting jeans. Or you could even style some sassy satin joggers with a simple bodysuit, low maintenance that still says you’re a strong independent woman.

Always stick to something comfy on your bottom half so your less distracted and can sit for long hours. Consider a flared trouser, leggings, joggers or a looser fitted jean. No one wants to sit for hours in skinny jeans – that’s just wrong!
